I purchased a 2020 Maza CX-5 two years ago from Brown's Alexandria Mazda and was very pleased with the interaction and their "no hard sell" approach. I purchased my car at a price that put the purchase in the top 20% percentile for an excellent price within the local area. I just finished my fourth periodic servicing and have been exceptionally pleased with their service center's professional focus, and follow-through. And their pricing is excellent. I never write reviews, but our excellent experience at Brown's Alexandria Mazda warrants being shared. Indeed, we went in to test a car, and left, quite unexpectedly, buying one (CX-9). this is a second review for this dealership for the same car. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the previous situation was not handled correctly. Overall, i am satisfied with the second visit i made. This time i went home with the vehicle i wanted from the beginning. There were no surprises, and i got a deal better than was i was getting locally. We just bought a CX-30 for our daughter and the experience was top notch! The sales person, Anthony, was fantastic and took a real interest in the fact that we were buying this for our daughter. He spent time showing her the car and setting it up for her while we did the paperwork. His manager Steve was equally nice. Just bought a 2018 CX-9 from Brown’s and I could not be happier with the dealership experience. Out of all of my experiences with dealerships, the most positive one was with Brown's Alexandria Mazda. The staff there were very friendly, as well as professional, including my sales person Brandon. I actually did not buy a car from Brown's Alexandria, as I ended up purchasing a Subaru, but I had such a positive experience with my salesperson Benjamin I felt it worthy of a review. Brown's has an excellent detailing service. These guys are magicians! I took my 1999 Miata MX-5 in for a detailing and what an amazing job they did! My ride looks brand new! The wax job was perfectly executed and the wheels spotless. My cloth seats look spotless and factory new. The engine was cleaned and has never looked this good. I am generally very apprehensive of car dealers. I went in looking for a used car but unfortunately there were none available in the style I wanted. Robert allowed me to test drive several cars and I found one that I really wanted but was a bit out of my price range. I negotiated with the sales and finance people for several hours and Robert was very understanding and patient. I ended up with a great price and a new car that I love!

I have never had an easier experience searching for a car and will be returning and buying more from Robert as he was personable and able to answer all of my questions with ease. Anthony Arthur was excellent. The whole team really made us feel welcome and his knowledge was great. He let me take me time in deciding and I went with a White CX-9. It's perfect and runs like a champ. I recommend you go to Brown's in Alexandria, ask for Anthony and let him assist you. Ms. Huffman is new to this location & VERY unusual in her level of service and expertise--have never had the kind of positive interaction before with a Service Manager. She is skilled at being clear and fair with her customers. We went to Roswnthal Mazda in Arlington to buy a Mazda 6 and when we got there we were lied to.
